Tournaments

The professional staff at Cedars is committed to providing you and your participants with outstanding customer service.  We will be there in the months and weeks leading up to your event, assisting you in the planning and as a resource for those difficult questions.  On the day of your event, our goal is for you, the organizer, to have nothing to worry about, leaving all the final tasks up to us, so you can relax and enjoy the day.

What You Can Expect on Tournament Day

1. When you arrive:  The golf cars will be staged and ready for players.  If needed, a registration table will be out and ready for use.  Personalized scorecards will be on the golf cars or at the registration tables depending on preference.  Car signs with player names and starting holes will be on the golf car steering wheel.  If desired, rules sheets will be in the golf cars.  A sheet listing the player names and starting holes will be posted at your registration table and other prominent locations.  The practice range will be ready for use.
2. Ten Minutes Prior to Start:  Our staff will gather players in the staging area.  We will then give a few brief announcements, go over rules of play and answer any questions. 
3. Five minutes prior to start of play, our staff will lead the field out onto the golf course.
4. On the Golf Course:  Our on-course marshal will tend to your group and assist groups to keep up with the group in front of them, as well as help look for lost balls and answer questions as needed.
5. After Play:  Our staff will collect any “closest to the pin” and “long drive” markers, as well as all scorecards, record scores on our scoreboard and determine position.  Any ties will be broken as directed and you will be given the results sheet.

Our food and beverage staff will treat your guests to the highest level of service and our banquet room can comfortably seat groups of all sizes.  Food options range from a casual BBQ to a formal steak and prime rib dinner, so sit back, relax and enjoy your Cedars experience.
